Women Write Wiki Project

This project aims to improve the representation of Australian and Pacific women writers in Wikipedia. Although the formal workshops have now been completed, we continue to meet informally every fortnight at The Women’s Library to work on our Wikipedia entries. If you would like to join in please email us on womenwritewiki@thewomenslibrary.org.au for details of our next meeting.

We will be holding a Women Write Wiki Editathon :

When: Wednesday 28 June 2017 from 11.30am onwards.

Where: The Women’s Library, 8-10 Brown Street, Newtown

All women are welcome to join in regardless of whether they have had prior training or previous involvement. We will provide some printed resources to assist you on the day. Bring a snack or your lunch and try your hand at Wikipedia editing! We hope to see you there!

To formally apply to join the project please fill out the application form at:

Some of the Authors on this list are not Australian or South Pacific because their publishers have office in Australia so they are considered to be published in Australia. Please prioritise Australian and South Pacific writers.
