Groups at the Library

The Women's Library has a comfortable meeting space that is available to community groups who are supporting women. If you would like to use this space, you will need to complete a group application form TWL Group Application.
To use the space you will also need to take out a library group membership TWL Membership.

Lesbian Open House

This group has been meeting at TWL since 2002, although it has been running for longer than this. Lesbian Open House is on every Tuesday at 7pm, and is a discussion group. There are up to 30 women attending this group.

"C" Word

The "C" Word meets at the library on the 4th Wednesday of the month. Who's it for?: Lesbians who have been diagnosed with cancer and their partners. The C-Word is a monthly support and information evening for lesbians who have been diagnosed with cancer, and their partners. The evenings have monthly topics and special guest presenters. “Oestrogen Does not Rot Your Keyboard” meets on the 4th Saturday of the month, 1.30pm-3.30pm. A computer group for women. Help us manager the library computer system, and learn all the things you thought you couldn’t. The ABC website “the big diary” has accepted this group as a regular monthly listing in the community, women and IT categories.
